Doing well.

Delilah is adjusting to school very well! She had a week where she was learning and testing all the rules but since then she has been great. She is making friends and learning things. Last night she sang the "Month-a-rana" with hand motions and all for Greg and me. It was great!!

Everything is going well with the baby as well. They did another ultrasound last week and said she was measuring perfectly and weighed about 4 lbs. 6 oz. Of course her growing and running out of room in there has been making it a little uncomfortable for me but I'm making it. Only about another month and a half to go! I'll be leaving my job on Oct 8th to take my last month off to rest and get the house ready. I'm looking forward to the break.

Nothing much else to report. Still need to get some pics on here from some stuff we have been doing. I'll try to get that done by next week.

Too cool for school.

Despite her best efforts to go back to bed we got Delilah up and fed and dressed and groomed!
Here she is all ready to jump in the car and get to school. She has her book bag and lunch (pb&j) and is good to go!

We got to the school no problem with time to spare! Good thing too because we had to get her red folder from the school store and find her classroom again since we came in through a different door than Monday.

Here we are in the class room now. She is finding out the first part of her daily routine.

Everything is stowed away in her cubbie.

Shopping!

Yesterday my mom and I took Delilah shopping for the last few things she needed for school and for some school clothes. We had a lot of fun picking out her book bag and of course it's always an adventure clothes shopping with her!!

She got the rare treat of getting to try everything on before deciding if we were going to get it or not. And a good thing we did because we had to switch out quite a few sizes! She is a lot smaller than I realized or they are making clothes bigger than they should!

After putting on the school clothes fashion show we picked out what we were getting and put back what didn't fit or she didn't like after all. So, now she is all set for starting school!! Boo hoo!

She is very excited about getting to go to school and I know she is going to do great. She has been practicing her writing everyday and can now write her name, address, and phone number without having a reference or needing help spelling anything! And of course her other favorite word she can spell with no help.... poop! Let's hope she will be over that phase soon enough!

Still working on getting those pics on the computer so I can post the 4th of July pics and scanning in the ultrasounds. Soon I hope.

How it's going.

I will try to get the pictures scanned in so I can post them too but we had our 20 week ultrasound. Everything was great!! Baby is developing perfectly and is a total wiggle worm. Baby made it pretty clear on the ultrasound that she is a girl, let's hope she is more modest once born!!

Delilah is very excited about little sister and we are starting to get the house ready. Dug the crib and high chair and stroller ... etc. out of the garage and are trying to find places for them in the house where we can use them easily once baby comes.


On another front... Delilah is a month away from starting Kindergarten!! What!! Only a month!! She is really excited and totally ready to be rid of me during the day. Soon we will be getting the call from her teacher to come and meet her and let Delilah meet her and see the classroom she will be in. She is gonna do GREAT!

Nothing much else going on. We have some good pics from the 4th of July I plan on posting once they get onto the computer and again I will try to get those ultrasound pics scanned in.

Might have some news

I have a doctors appointment today. It's just a check up but maybe there will be something interesting to pass on to you all. I will post something tomorrow if there is anything worth reporting.

Work is going well at my new job (movie theater concessions person). It's pretty easy and it goes by fast because we are almost always busy.

I have an ultrasound scheduled mid June so hopefully we will know the gender at that point.

Nothing else really worth reporting.

Oh! The garage is getting a lot closer to being able to park in!! Another few days of work in there and we will be good to go!

It's going...

I realized today that it's been quite some time since I posted anything. As you can see from my new ticker at the top of the page there has been a lot going on!

We are now expecting a baby, due date Nov 6, 09. We are all very excited about this! Greg and Delilah love to argue over if it will be a girl (Delilah says) or a boy (Greg says). Everything is going well so far, no major issues.

This news has also made it more important to get the garage cleared out. That is where all the baby stuff is burried under who knows what else!

In other news Delilah is getting geared up for going to school this year. We go to register her May 1 at Glenn Arden Elementary. She is growing up so FAST! She just turned 5 but she acts like a mini 20 year old sometimes.
